This is my LazBlinds Roman Shades review. These shades do not require drilling or tools to install. You simply tighten them, which secures them in place. These bamboo shades are very easy to use and mine regularly draw compliments from my guests.

No-Drill Installation Process

First, please watch the LazBlinds Roman Shades Review video I posted above where I quickly demonstrate install.

These LazBlinds bamboo Roman shades are very easy to use. There’s one absolutely crucial thing you must consider, but I’ll get to that in a second.

First, you do not need to do any drilling to install them. Here’s what you get out of the box:

That’s it. There are not a lot of parts to worry about.

The install process is extremely easy and took me a total of about 2 minutes. Here’s how it works (watch my video at the top of the article). On the top of the blinds, you’ll find no-drill brackets on both ends. These brackets have nuts that you can tighten. I tried to show this on the screen so you can see how it works.

To install, you simply push the blinds into the window frame. Once the blinds are in place, you tighten those nuts on both ends until they are secure. That’s all it takes. You don’t need any tools, screws, or complicated hardware.

Cordless Design

These LazBlinds are cordless, which makes them easy to raise and lower.

You just use your hands to adjust the blinds to the position you want. The cordless design also creates a safer environment, as there are no cords to tangle with.

Light-Filtering Performance

These shades are light-filtering. I tried to show in the review video at the top of the page a before-and-after view on the screen to demonstrate how much light these blinds filter.

They don’t block all the light, so they are not complete privacy shades. However, they do filter a decent amount of light and are perfect for living rooms, dining rooms, offices, or bedrooms where a soft, filtered glow is ideal.

Window Frame Depth Requirements

Now, here’s the one absolutely crucial thing you must consider.

These blinds require a flat window frame with a depth of at least 1.5 inches. Before purchasing, you need to make sure your window frame is deep enough to handle these shades.

Customization Options

LazBlinds offers customization for these shades. If you need a specific size, you can select the “Custom Size” option when ordering. Each shade will be made according to your exact window measurements.

You will want to double check your measurements and make sure you window frame meets the requirements.
