What You Need to Know

There are several things you should know about this smores machine:

• The Heater – The heating coil is electric. The cord is four feet, so you will need to be near an outlet. The heater has a protective cover, but it still gets very hot so you will need to make sure children are aware. The heater does roast the marshmallow very similar to a camp fire. Once plugged in, the heater is ready to cook within a minute.

• Assembly – Very easy to assemble. There are four parts. A support base, a Lazy Susan storage tray (that surrounds the cooker), the heating unit (with cord), and a protective cover for the heating unit. You can assemble this cooker in less than a minute. It is not a heavy device.

Overall, this is a very good indoor replacement for cooking smores. The heating unit does not roast the marshmallows as fast as an open flame, but it is still *reasonably* fast.

Once the marshmallow is over the heating unit, it is roasting within about 15-20 seconds. You will have to spin the marshmallow to get it to roast on all sides.
