This drain cover is very easy to install. It uses suction cups to create a tight seal. The top of this drain cover has a hole in it so that if your bath water does reach the top of the cover, it will still drain into the overflow drain (instead of flooding over the side of your bathtub).

What You Need to Know

This drain cover fits over most standard overflow drains. It has a 4-inch inner diameter and is 2 inches deep. It’s made to work with flat, toggle, and snap-on overflow drains. If you are unsure, it would be best to measure your overflow drain to compare to these dimensions.

I mentioned this earlier, but when you install this drain cover, make sure the hole of the drain cover is at the top of the drain. This means when the water reaches the very top, it will still drain down through the overflow drain instead of flooding over the wall of the bathtub.
